Fluorocarbons in whey products can harm both nature and those who work with the whey.

The challenge for whey manufacturers is to be able to build an environmentally friendly product that can compete with fluoride. Fluoride is undoubtedly what has worked best in the dikes so far. It is now gratifying that the manufacturers of piles have been able to create products with the same fine gliding properties and wear resistance as the fluorine piles for a few years now.
